Hybrid Sentry is an Apple Watch app designed to guide athletes through hybrid races and simulations. Privacy is a core value of our service.

Data Collection & Storage

Hybrid Sentry does not collect, store, or share personal health or workout data on external servers.

• Local Storage: All workout data is stored locally on your Apple Watch.
• iCloud Sync: The app uses Apple’s iCloud service to back up your simulation history and sync it between your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud container, and the developer cannot access it.

Health Data

Hybrid Sentry requests permission to read and write data through Apple Health (HealthKit) in order to:

• Record and categorize workouts (Running vs. Functional training).
• Display real-time heart rate and calculate intensity zones.
• Contribute to your Apple Fitness rings.

This data is managed directly by Apple Health. You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in your device's Health settings.

Anonymous Analytics

To improve the app's design and user experience, Hybrid Sentry uses a privacy-first analytics service called TelemetryDeck.

TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). All data is completely anonymized and cryptographically hashed on your device before being sent. We cannot identify you, track you across other apps, or link this usage data to your Apple ID or your Health records.

What we measure: We only collect high-level, aggregated interaction data to understand how the app is being used:

• App launches to measure overall retention.
• Navigation flow through the simulation setup (e.g., tapping to start a new simulation or reusing a past one).
